Visoft HCS VISOFT-HCS is an universal cationic softening agent for imparting soft handle on knit yarns, knitted and woven fabrics, especially cotton and rayon hosiery goods. It gives less yellowing on storage and hence is suitable for all type of materials.
Properties
- Chemical Nature: Cation-active condensation product of a fatty acid.
- Physical Appearance: Off-white slightly viscous liquid.
- Ionic Nature: Cationic.
- pH (of 1% solution): 4-5
- Solubility: Can be diluted with slightly acidic water to any extent.
- Stability: Stable to hard water and to acids, but should not be used above pH 8.0.
Applications
- Exhaust Bath: 1% to 2% of VISOFT HCS on weight of goods Gives soft handle to the cotton and polyester/cotton blends. The bath pH should be between 6 to 7.
- Padding: 5-15 g/l of VIISOFT HCS in weakly acidic pad bath gives excellent softness on all type of fabrics.
- Packing: 50 Kgs. Polythene Carbouys.
